Amendment of Human Organ Transplant Act 1987
In the Human Organ Transplant Act 1987, in section 2, replace the definition of “licensee” with —“ “licensee”, in relation to a hospital, means a person who is —
(a)
authorised to provide an acute hospital service or ambulatory surgical centre service (called in this definition a relevant healthcare service) under a licence granted under the Healthcare Services Act 2020; and (b)approved to provide the relevant healthcare service at the hospital which is an approved permanent premises (within the meaning of section 2(1) of the Healthcare Services Act 2020);”.
