Amendment of section 10

In the Small Motorised Vehicles (Safety) Act, in section 10(8) —

(a)

in the definition of “relevant person”, in paragraph (c), delete “or” at the end;

(b)

in the definition of “relevant person”, in paragraph (d), insert “or” at the end;

(c)

in the definition of “relevant person”, after paragraph (d), insert —“(e)a person whom an authorised officer suspects on reasonable grounds is or was keeping an unsafe device, or an agent of such a person;”;

(d)

in the definition of “relevant premises”, in paragraph (a), delete “or” at the end;

(e)

in the definition of “relevant premises”, after paragraph (a), insert —“(aa)is used for or in connection with the keeping of an unsafe device; or”; and

(f)

in the definition of “relevant premises”, in paragraph (b), replace “or (d)” with “, (d) or (e) (as the case may be)”.
