These Regulations may be cited as the Charities (Composition of Offences) Regulations.
Compoundable offences
The following offences (other than continuing offences) may be compounded by the Commissioner in accordance with section 55(1) of the Act:
an offence under section 7(8), 10(3) or (8), 16, 23(20), 29(1), 36(2), 37(5) or 44(8) of the Act;
an offence under the Charities (Fund-Raising Appeals) Regulations (Rg 8) in force before 1st November 2012;
an offence under the Charities (Fund-Raising Appeals for Foreign Charitable Purposes) Regulations (Rg 2) in force before 1st November 2012;
an offence under the Charities (Large Charities) Regulations (Rg 9); (e)an offence under the Charities (Registration of Charities) Regulations (Rg 10); (f)an offence under regulation 5(1) or (2)(a) of the Charities (Accounts and Annual Report) Regulations 2011 (G.N. No. S 352/2011); (g)an offence under regulation 4(3), (4) or (5), 5(8) or (9), 6(3), 7(3), 11(3), 14(7), 15(3), 15A(3) or (4), 16(4) or (6), 17(7), 19(1), 20(1), 20C(3) or (4), 20D(3), (4) or (5), 20E(3), 20F(3), (4) or (5), 23(2), 25(3), 26(6) or 27(1) of the Charities (Fund-raising Appeals for Local and Foreign Charitable Purposes) Regulations 2012 (G.N. No. S 530/2012);
an offence under regulation 21(1) or (2) of the Charities (Institutions of A Public Character) Regulations (Rg 5).
