Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the HUDC Housing Estates (Amendment) Act 1994 and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

Amendment of section 2
Section 2(1) of the HUDC Housing Estates Act is amended by deleting the definition of “special resolution” and substituting the following definition:“ “special resolution” means a resolution passed at a duly convened general meeting of a body corporate of which at least 21 days’ notice specifying the proposed resolution has been given and against which not more than 25% of the owners of all the flats in the housing estate concerned have cast their votes.”.
