Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Infectious Diseases (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 12 February 2020.
Compoundable offences
The following offences (other than a continuing offence) may be compounded by the Director in accordance with section 68(1) of the Act:
any offence under section 15(4) or (5), 16(3) or (4), 17(5), 17A(8)(a), 18(2), 19(3) or (4), 19A(2), 20(2), 21(4), 21A(4), 21B(4), 45A(2), 55(8) or 64(a) of the Act;
any offence under regulation 24(a) or (b) or 49 of the Infectious Diseases (Quarantine) Regulations (Rg 1);
any offence under regulation 3(3) or 4(1) of the Infectious Diseases (COVID-19 — Stay Orders) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 182/2020) as in force before 8 March 2024;
any offence under regulation 4(1) of the Infectious Diseases (COVID-19 — Stay Orders) Regulations 2020 as in force immediately before 10 April 2020;
any offence under regulation 3(2), 4(1) or (2), 5(2), 6(2) or (3), 7(4) or 7A(1) of the Infectious Diseases (Measures to Prevent Spread of COVID-19) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 185/2020) as in force before 10 April 2020;
any offence under regulation 4(2), 5(4), 6(2), 7(2), 8(3) or 9(3) of the Infectious Diseases (Workplace Measures to Prevent Spread of COVID-19) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 235/2020) as in force before 10 April 2020;
regulation 4(1) or (2), 12(4) or 14(3) or (4) of the Infectious Diseases (Antigen Rapid Test Providers) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 267/2021) as in force immediately before 18 December 2023;
regulation 9(3), 10(6) or 11(3) of the Infectious Diseases (COVID-19 Access Restrictions and Clearance) Regulations 2021 (formerly cited as the Infectious Diseases (Mass Gathering Testing for Coronavirus Disease 2019) (G.N. No. S 273/2021) as in force immediately before 10 October 2022.
