Regulation 28

Measures against rodents

Subregulation 1

The master of every vessel shall —

(a)

at all times keep his vessel free from rodents and the plague vector; and

(b)

cause the vessel to be periodically fumigated.

Subregulation 2

A Port Health Officer may, by notice in writing require the master, owner or agent of any vessel to fumigate his vessel within 24 hours or within such lesser period as he may specify.
