Short title and commencement

This Act may be cited as the Judges’ Remuneration (Amendment) Act, 1973 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of March 1973.

Clause 2

Amendment of section 2

Subsection (1) of section 2 of the Judges’ Remuneration Act is hereby deleted and the following substituted therefor: —“(1) There shall be paid to —

(a)

the Chief Justice an annual pensionable salary of ninety thousand dollars;

(b)

the most senior Judge of the Supreme Court an annual pensionable salary of seventy-two thousand dollars; and

(c)

every other Judge of the Supreme Court an annual pensionable salary of sixty-six thousand dollars.”.
