Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Judges’ Remuneration (Amendment) Act, 1982, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of April 1982.

Amendment of section 2
Section 2 of the Judges’ Remuneration Act is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection: —“(1) There shall be paid to —
the Chief Justice an annual pensionable salary of two hundred and twenty-five thousand six hundred dollars; and
every other Judge of the Supreme Court an annual pensionable salary of one hundred and sixty-three thousand two hundred dollars.”.
