Clause 1

Short title and commencement

This Act may be cited as the Judicial Committee (Repeal) Act 1994 and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

Consequential amendments

The Acts specified in the first column of the Schedule are amended as set out in the second column of that Schedule.

Clause 4

Transitional provision

This Act shall not apply to any appeal, application for leave or application for special leave to appeal made under the Judicial Committee Act before the commencement of this Act; and notwithstanding its repeal the Judicial Committee Act shall continue to apply to such appeal, application for leave or application for special leave to appeal as if this Act had not been enacted.
