Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Loans (International Bank) (Amendment) Act, 1970, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of December 1970.

Short title and commencement

Amendment of long title
The long title of the Loans (International Bank) Ordinance, 1958 (hereinafter in this Act referred to as “the Ordinance”) is hereby amended by inserting immediately after the words “International Bank for Reconstruction and Development” appearing in the second line thereof the words “and the Asian Development Bank”.
Amendment of section 1
The short title of the Ordinance is hereby amended by deleting the word “Bank” appearing therein and substituting therefor the word “Banks”.
Amendment of section 2
Section 2 of the Ordinance is hereby amended by inserting immediately after the word “Development” appearing in the definition of “Bank”, the words “or the Asian Development Bank”.
