Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Local Treasury Bills (Amendment) Act 1995 and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Local Treasury Bills (Amendment) Act 1995 and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.
Amendment of section 2
Section 2 of the Local Treasury Bills Act is amended by inserting, immediately after the definition of “depositor”, the following definition:“ “Government Securities Fund” means the Government Securities Fund established under Part II of the Government Securities Act [Cap. 121A];”.
Amendment of sections 4, 5 and 7
Sections 4, 5 and 7 of the Local Treasury Bills Act are amended by deleting the words “Consolidated Fund” wherever they appear therein and substituting in each case the words “Government Securities Fund”.
Saving
This Act shall not apply to any Treasury Bill or book-entry Treasury Bill issued in Singapore under the Local Treasury Bills Act before the commencement of this Act.
