Definition
In these Regulations, “automatic machine medicinal product” means a medicinal product in the automatic machine section of a general sale list and specified in the Schedule to the Medicines (General Sale List) Order 2016 (G.N. No. S 544/2016).
Conditions for sale of general sale list medicines by automatic machines
For the purposes of section 26 of the Act, the conditions for a person to sell or offer for sale an automatic machine medicinal product by means of an automatic machine are —
that the name and contact information of the person are prominently displayed on the automatic machine;
that the automatic machine is sufficiently equipped and secure to ensure appropriate storage conditions for the medicinal product; and
that the total amount of the medicinal product in each package of the product sold or offered for sale does not exceed a total dosage of 3 months per individual user based on the dosage recommendations, if applicable, on the product label.
