Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Ngee Ann Technical College (Amendment) Act, 1972, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Ngee Ann Technical College (Amendment) Act, 1972, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.
Amendment of section 17
Section 17 of the Ngee Ann Technical College Act is hereby amended —
by re-numbering the existing section as subsection (1) and by deleting the expression “, subject to the provisions of section 20 of the Ngee Ann Kongsi (Incorporation) Ordinance,” appearing in paragraph (b) thereof; and
by adding thereto the following subsection: —“(2) Section 20 of the Ngee Ann Kongsi (Incorporation) Ordinance (Cap. 307, 1955 Edition) shall not apply to the alienation or donation of immovable property by the Ngee Ann Kongsi to the College.”.
