Revised Edition of the Laws Act(CHAPTER 275, Section 11(3))Order under Section 11(3)O 16G.N. No. S 537/1997REVISED EDITION 1998(15th June 1998)[20th December 1997]Whereas pursuant to section 10 of the Revised Edition of the Laws Act, the Law Revision Commissioners have published in loose-leaf form the Acts set out in the Schedule as in force on 1st December 1997: And Whereas it is provided under section 11(3) of the Revised Edition of the Laws Act that the Commissioners shall transmit to the President a copy of each of the loose-leaf edition of these Acts and the President may thereupon, by order published in the Gazette, specify that the loose-leaf edition of these Acts shall, in all courts and for all purposes, be the sole and only proper law of Singapore in respect of those Acts: Now therefore it is hereby ordered by the President that the loose-leaf edition of these Acts shall, with effect from 20th December 1997, be the sole and only proper law of Singapore in respect of those Acts.
