Short title
This Act may be cited as the Parliamentary Elections (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1972.

Short title
This Act may be cited as the Parliamentary Elections (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1972.
Interpretation
In this Act —“register of electors” has the same meaning as in the Parliamentary Elections Act;“Registration Officer” has the same meaning as in the Parliamentary Elections Act.

“Registration Officer” has the same meaning as in the Parliamentary Elections Act.
Dispensation with revision of registers in 1972
Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1) of section 15 of the Parliamentary Elections Act it shall not be necessary for the Registration Officer to complete a revision of the registers of electors in the year 1972.
