Amendment of section 2

Section 2(1) of the Parliamentary Pensions Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the definition of “future Member”, the following definition:“ “Mayor” means a Mayor appointed under rules made under the People’s Association Act (Cap. 227);”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “Minister of State,” in the 3rd line of the definition of “office”, the word “Mayor,”.
