Short title
This Act may be cited as the Parliamentary Pensions (Amendment) Act 2002.

Short title
This Act may be cited as the Parliamentary Pensions (Amendment) Act 2002.
Amendment of section 2
Section 2(1) of the Parliamentary Pensions Act is amended —
by inserting, immediately after the definition of “future Member”, the following definition:“ “Mayor” means a Mayor appointed under rules made under the People’s Association Act (Cap. 227);”; and
by inserting, immediately after the words “Minister of State,” in the 3rd line of the definition of “office”, the word “Mayor,”.
Amendment of section 6
Section 6(2) of the Parliamentary Pensions Act is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “reckonable service as a” in the 1st line of paragraph (c), the word “Mayor,”.
