These Regulations are the Singapore Armed Forces (Composition of Military Offences) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 1 July 2023.
Compoundable military offences
An offence under section 17(2) of the Act in relation to a failure to comply with an IPPT Order may be compounded by any serviceman authorised by the Armed Forces Council to compound offences in accordance with section 79A of the Act.
In this regulation, “IPPT Order” means —
paragraph 8 of the Notice Requiring Persons to Report for Individual Physical Proficiency Test and Fitness Improvement Training Programme (G.N. No. 638/2021); and
any other lawful order requiring a serviceman to take or complete an Individual Physical Proficiency Test or other fitness programme in lieu of the Individual Physical Proficiency Test.
