—(1) Except in so far as any particular case in which any privilege or immunity is waived, the Manager shall enjoy within and with respect to the territory of Singapore immunity from suit and legal process in respect of acts, including words spoken or written, done in his official capacity and in the discharge of his duties.(2) Immunity from suit and legal process under sub-paragraph (1) shall apply only for so long as he holds the office or employment as Manager and shall no longer apply when he ceases to hold such office or employment.(3) Nothing in sub-paragraph (1) shall be construed as granting to the Manager immunity from suit and legal process for contravention of the Telecommunications Act (Cap. 323). (4) For the purposes of the application of this Order, “Manager” means the Manager of the INTELSAT Asia-Pacific Regional Support Centre appointed by INTELSAT.(5) This paragraph shall not confer any immunity or privilege upon any person who is a citizen or permanent resident of Singapore.
