—(1) A person who furnishes to the Registrar —(a)in relation to an application for a general licence in respect of vehicles which include one or more foreign vehicles, any information or document referred to in rule 58(2); or(b)in relation to an application for approval under rule 60A(1) or 61(4), any information or document referred to in rule 60A(2) or 61(5),shall ensure that the information or document is not false or misleading in any material particular.(2) Any person who furnishes to the Registrar —(a)in relation to an application for a general licence in respect of vehicles which include one or more foreign vehicles, any information or document referred to in rule 58(2) which to his knowledge is false or misleading in any material particular; or(b)in relation to an application for approval under rule 60A(1) or 61(4), any information or document referred to in rule 60A(2) or 61(5) which to his knowledge is false or misleading in any material particular,shall be guilty of an offence.
