Maintenance of fuel measuring equipment
Subregulation 1
Every instrument or appliance, or combination of instruments or appliances, fitted to a motor vehicle for measuring or indicating or measuring and indicating the amount of motor fuel in each fuel tank of the motor vehicle shall at all times while the vehicle is used on a road be maintained in good working order.
Subregulation 2
Any person who uses on the road any motor vehicle fitted with an instrument or appliance, or combination of instruments or appliances referred to in paragraph (1) while such instrument or appliance or combination thereof is not maintained in accordance with paragraph (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $500.
