Regulation 59
Chassis
Subregulation 1
Every omnibus registered on or after 1st January 1990 shall be fitted with a chassis that is suitably designed and constructed for the carriage of passengers.
Subregulation 2
Every private bus, excursion bus, private hire bus or school bus registered on or after 1st October 1996 shall be fitted with a chassis that is suitably designed and constructed for the carriage of passengers.
Subregulation 3
The Registrar may require the manufacturer or importer of an omnibus to furnish such evidence that the omnibus complies with this rule.
