Regulation 2
Definition
In this Order, “3‑door omnibus” means an omnibus that has 3 sets of entrance and exit doors for passengers to board and disembark.

Subject to sub-paragraph (2), rules 6(1), 44(1), 60(1) and 77(1)(d) and (e) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use) Rules (R 9) do not apply to a 3‑door omnibus that is owned by the Authority.
Subregulation 2
The exemption in sub-paragraph (1) is subject to the condition that there must be in force, at all times, a policy of insurance in relation to the 3‑door omnibus insuring against any liability in respect of —
(a)
damage to any property caused by or arising out of the use of that 3‑door omnibus; and
(b)
the death of, or bodily injury sustained by, any person caused by or arising out of the use of that 3‑door omnibus.
