Definitions
In this Order —[Deleted by S 739/2023 wef 15/11/2023]“specified event” means any event or series of related activities taking place in Singapore that are conducted on land under the control or management of the Urban Redevelopment Authority;“Urban Redevelopment Authority” means the Urban Redevelopment Authority established by section 3 of the Urban Redevelopment Authority Act 1989.

Exemption from registration of motor vehicle kept in connection with specified event
Section 10(1) of the Act does not apply to any individual who keeps a motor vehicle under the following conditions:
the individual is authorised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority to keep the motor vehicle for exhibition and display purposes in connection with a specified event;
the motor vehicle is only kept in connection with a specified event;
there is in force, at any time the motor vehicle is used in connection with a specified event, a policy of insurance in relation to the motor vehicle insuring against any liability in respect of —
the death of or bodily injury sustained by any person (other than the driver or any passenger of the motor vehicle); and
any property damage suffered by any person (other than the driver or any passenger of the motor vehicle),caused by or arising out of the use of the motor vehicle; (d)the risk under the policy of insurance mentioned in sub‑paragraph (c) is assumed by an insurer who, at the time of the issuance of the policy, is lawfully carrying on an insurance business in Singapore.
