This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2009 and shall come into operation on 14th December 2009.

Subregulation 1

Subject to the conditions specified in sub-paragraph (2), rule 5(1) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules (R 5) shall not apply to the vehicle registered in the name of the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary and bearing the engine number 2AZB138484 and chassis number JTEGD32M407013129.

Subregulation 2

Suggest a correction

The conditions are as follows:

(a)

the registration of the vehicle shall not be transferred to any person except a person who is referred to in rule 5(2)(d)(i) to (iv) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules; and

(b)

the vehicle shall be scrapped or permanently removed from Singapore upon reaching 10 years of age as reckoned in accordance with rule 2(2)(c) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules (R 5).
