No. S 590Supreme Court of Judicature Act (Chapter 322) and Rules of Court (Amendment No. 5) Rules 2012Rules of Court (Application to Proceedings in Subordinate Courts) Notification 2013In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 1(3) of the Rules of Court (Amendment No. 5) Rules 2012 (G.N. No. S 600/2012), I, Sundaresh Menon, Chief Justice, being satisfied as to the readiness of the new electronic filing service in the Subordinate Courts, hereby appoint 30th September 2013 as the date with effect from which the Rules of Court (Amendment No. 5) Rules 2012 shall apply to all proceedings in the Subordinate Courts, other than —(a)any proceedings under section 17A(2) of the Act;(b)any proceedings under the Adoption of Children Act (Cap. 4);(c)any proceedings under the Guardianship of Infants Act (Cap. 122);(d)any proceedings under the Inheritance (Family Provision) Act (Cap. 138);(e)any proceedings under the International Child Abduction Act (Cap. 143C);(f)any proceedings under the Mental Capacity Act (Cap. 177A);(g)any proceedings under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act (Cap. 178A); and(h)any proceedings under section 59 or Part X of the Women’s Charter (Cap. 353).Dated this 5th day of September 2013.SUNDARESH MENONChief Justice.[RSCS R7/7 Vol. 14; AG/LLRD/SL/322/2010/1 Vol. 7]
