No. S 20Revised Edition of the Laws Act(Chapter 275)Notice under Section 17 (5)Whereas pursuant to section 17(5) of the Revised Edition of the Laws Act, the Law Revision Commissioners have published the following 1996 Revised Edition of Subsidiary Legislation of the Legal Profession Act (Chapter 161) incorporating all amendments up to 31st December 1995 made thereto:

(a)

the Legal Profession Rules; and [R 3.](b)the Legal Profession (Solicitors’ Remuneration) Order. [O 1.]Now, therefore, it is hereby notified for general information that the Law Revision Commissioners have appointed 15th January 1996 as the date the said 1996 Revised Edition of Subsidiary Legislation of the Legal Profession Act shall come into force.Dated this 10th day of January 1996.CHAN SEK KEONGChairman, Law Revision Commission.[AG/SL/1/96]
