No. S 691Revised Edition of the Laws Act(Chapter 275)Order under Section 11 (3)Whereas pursuant to section 10 of the Revised Edition of the Laws Act, the Law Revision Commissioners have published in loose-leaf form the Acts set out in Part I of the Schedule as in force on 1st December 2007 and the Act set out in Part II of the Schedule as in force on 1st January 2008:And Whereas it is provided under section 11(3) of the Revised Edition of the Laws Act that the Commissioners shall transmit to the President a copy of each of the loose-leaf edition of these Acts and the President may thereupon, by order published in the Gazette, specify that the loose-leaf edition of these Acts shall, in all courts and for all purposes, be the sole and only proper law of Singapore in respect of those Acts:Now therefore it is hereby ordered by the President that the loose-leaf edition of these Acts shall, with effect from 1st January 2008, be the sole and only proper law of Singapore in respect of those Acts.Dated this 6th day of December 2007.By Command, LAU WAH MING Secretary to the Cabinet, Singapore.[AG/LRRD/5/2007]
