Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Building Control (Exemption from section 12 for Buildings Under Construction Used as Workers’ Quarters) Order 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2009.

Regulation 2
Exemption
Section 12 of the Act shall not apply to any building under construction which is being used as workers’ quarters in accordance with the Building Control (Use of Buildings Under Construction as Workers’ Quarters) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No. S 636/2008).
