Fees

FIRST SCHEDULERegulations 101, 103, 103I and 103KFees Fee Payable1.Bonded warehouse licence to warehouse —

(a)

crude oil; or (b)any petroleum product distilled or otherwise derived from crude oil, for which no duty (whether customs duty or excise duty or both) is chargeable or payable$30,000 per annum2.Bonded warehouse licence granted to a licensee, where the average value of all the goods stored in all the warehouses to which the licence relates in the period of 12 months immediately preceding the date of application for or renewal of the licence (as the case may be) is more than $1 million but less than $5 million and the licence is —

(a)

for a period starting before 1 January 2024$2,500 per annum(b)for a period starting on or after 1 January 2024 but before 1 January 2025$2,990 per annum(c)for a period starting on or after 1 January 2025$3,480 per annum3.Bonded warehouse licence granted to a licensee, where the average value of all the goods stored in all the warehouses to which the licence relates in the period of 12 months immediately preceding the date of application for or renewal of the licence (as the case may be) is $5 million or more and the licence is —

(a)

for a period starting before 1 January 2024$4,000 per annum(b)for a period starting on or after 1 January 2024 but before 1 January 2025$4,785 per annum(c)for a period starting on or after 1 January 2025$5,570 per annum4.Bonded warehouse licences where paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 do not apply and the licence is —

(a)

for a period starting before 1 January 2024$1,000 per annum(b)for a period starting on or after 1 January 2024 but before 1 January 2025$1,195 per annum(c)for a period starting on or after 1 January 2025$1,390 per annum4A.Container freight warehouse licence —

(a)

issued before 1st October 2003No charge(b)issued or renewed on or after 1st October 2003$4,000 per annum5.For the attendance of one or more authorised officers in connection with the destruction of goods (including the surveying of the goods before and after their destruction)$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous attendance at the destruction and any survey.5A.[Deleted by S 769/2023 wef 01/01/2024] 6.For the purposes of paragraphs 2 and 3 —

(a)

the value of goods shall be determined, in the case of imported goods, in accordance with section 18 of the Act and, in the case of other goods, in accordance with section 17 of the Act; and

(b)

the average value of all goods shall be equal towhere Ais the value of all goods in all the bonded warehouses to which the bonded warehouse licence relates at the beginning of the period referred to in paragraphs 2 and 3; andBis the value of all goods in all the bonded warehouses to which the bonded warehouse licence relates at the end of the period referred to in paragraphs 2 and 3.[S 769/2023 wef 01/01/2024][S 328/2019 wef 02/05/2019][S 495/2012 wef 01/10/2012]
