Citation and commencement
This Notification may be cited as the Retirement and Re-employment (Prescribed Specified Age) Notification 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2012.

Citation and commencement
This Notification may be cited as the Retirement and Re-employment (Prescribed Specified Age) Notification 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2012.
Application
This Notification applies to an employee who —
is neither a public officer eligible to retirement benefits under the Pensions Act (Cap. 225) nor a person in the service of a statutory body eligible to a pension under the Pensions Act;
was, before 1st July 1993, and is still covered by a retirement benefit scheme approved by the Minister, being a scheme that provides for the employee’s retirement on or before the employee attains 60 years of age; and
retires on or after 1st January 2012.
Prescribed specified age
The specified age of an employee to which this Notification applies shall be such age as the employee may be required to retire under his last contract of service prior to his retirement.
