No. S 242Maintenance of Parents Act(Chapter 167B)Appointment of Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners for the Maintenance of ParentsIt is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 12(1) of the Maintenance of Parents Act, the Minister for Community Development has, with effect from 1st June 1996, appointed —

(a)

the Director of Social Welfare to be the Commissioner for the Maintenance of Parents;

(b)

the Deputy Directors of the Family and Child Welfare Branch and the Senior Citizens and Social Services Branch to be the Deputy Commissioners for the Maintenance of Parents; and

(c)

the Assistant Directors of the Family and Child Welfare Branch and the Senior Citizens and Social Services Branch to be the Assistant Commissioners for the Maintenance of Parents.[MCD 132-18-05; AG/SL/60/95/1]
