Citation
These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Composition of Offences) Regulations.
Compoundable offences
The following offences may be compounded by the Director in accordance with section 205(2) of the Act:
any offence under section 48, 49(1), 53(5), 57(5), 73(2), 89(4), 91(5), 100(5), 103(2), 104(3) or (4), 105(2), 107(2), 109(2) or 212(2) of the Act; (b)any offence under regulation 39 of the Merchant Shipping (Registration of Ships) Regulations (Rg 7);
any offence (other than a continuing offence) under regulation 9(1), 14(4), 15(4), 16(2), 17(3), 19(2) or (3), 20(2), 21(2), 23(2), 24(3), 25(2), 26(2), 28(3), 29(2) or 30(2) of the Merchant Shipping (Pleasure Craft) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 161/2020).
