Proposed text

—(1) Where there is any change in the registered particulars of a Singapore ship, not being an alteration of the ship to which section 34 of the Act applies or a change of ownership, the owner or manager of the ship shall as soon as practicable apply to the Registrar for the change to be recorded in the register.(2) Such an application shall be in writing and shall be accompanied by the certificate of registry (if available) and such evidence as to the change as may be required by the Registrar.(3) On recording the change in the registered particulars, the Registrar must cancel the certificate of registry and issue a new certificate of registry that reflects the change in the registered particulars.(4) Where there is a change in any of the particulars that is required to be marked in accordance with section 10 of the Act, the Registrar must issue —(a)[Deleted by S 737/2025 wef 01/12/2025](b)a new certificate of registry that reflects the change in the registered particulars.(5) [Deleted by S 352/2022 wef 05/05/2022]
