Special anchorages

Subregulation 1

The special anchorages, and the purposes for which they may be used, are set out in the Second Schedule.

The owner, agent, master or person-in-charge of a vessel which uses any anchorage referred to in the Second Schedule for a purpose other than that specified in that Schedule shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $1,000 for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction.
