Proposed text

—(1) An eligible person or an authorised representative of an eligible person may apply to the Authority to record an IDERA in respect of an aircraft under Article XIII(2) of the Protocol.(2) An authorised party specified in a recorded IDERA in respect of an aircraft may apply to the Authority to record a CDCL in respect of that aircraft.(3) An application under paragraph (1) or (2) must —(a)be made in the form and manner required by the Authority;(b)be accompanied by the information and documents specified by the Authority; and(c)be accompanied by the relevant application fee specified in the Schedule.(4) After receiving an application under paragraph (1) or (2), the Authority must —(a)record the IDERA or CDCL (as the case may be); or(b)reject the application.(5) In paragraph (1), “eligible person” means —(a)the holder of a certificate of registration in respect of an aircraft granted under regulation 8(1)(a) of the Air Navigation (47 — Aircraft Registration) Regulations 2026; or (b)a person eligible to apply for a certificate of registration in respect of an aircraft under regulation 6 of the Air Navigation (47 — Aircraft Registration) Regulations 2026.
