For the purposes of section 28(4) of the Act, the following documents filed or lodged with, or obtained by, the Registrar on or after 9 December 2024, are excluded documents to which section 28(1) of the Act does not apply:(a)a document (other than a form mentioned in regulation 11B) that contains any of the following information about an individual:(i)the individual’s date of birth;(ii)the individual’s residential address;(iii)the individual’s email address;(iv)the individual’s mobile telephone number;(b)where an application is lodged to reserve a name as a person’s proposed registered business name under section 16(1) of the Act — any other document lodged in respect of the application;(c)where a person has applied to the Registrar to give a direction to any other person to change that other person’s registered business name under section 17(6) of the Act — any other document lodged by the person and that other person in respect of the application;(d)where an application to change a person’s registered business name is lodged under section 18(1) of the Act — any other document lodged in respect of the application;(e)where a notice mentioned in section 21(1)(a), (b) or (c) of the Act is lodged on behalf or in respect of a deceased person or deceased partner — any other document lodged in respect of the notice.
