Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Active Mobility (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 1 May 2018.
Compoundable offences
The following offences (other than a continuing offence) may be compounded in accordance with section 55 of the Act by the Chief Executive of the Authority, any employee of the Authority, or any public path warden authorised in writing by the Authority for the purpose of section 55 of the Act:
any offence under section 15(4), 16(4), 17(3), 18(3), 19(2), 20(2), 20A(3), 21(3), 22(2), 22A(2), 23(3), 23A(1), 23B(1), 23C(1), 23D(1), 23E(1), 26(5), 27(2) or (7), 28(3), 28B(3), 28G(2), 30(4), 31(2), 32(2), 33(1), 34(1), (1A) or (6), 35(1), 46(5), 47(5), 48(4), 49(7) or 50(4) of the Act;
any offence under regulation 5(2) of the Active Mobility (Dealing in Personal Mobility Devices and Mobility Vehicles) Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 243/2018);
(ba)any offence under regulation 4(2) of the Active Mobility (Dealing in Personal Mobility Devices and Mobility Vehicles) Regulations 2018 as in force immediately before 8 April 2026;
any offence under regulation 8(1) or (2), 9(1) or (2), 10(1) or (2), 11, 12, 13 or 13A of the Active Mobility Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 251/2018), read with regulation 14 of those Regulations;
any offence under regulation 8(2), 9(4), 14(3), 15(2) or 32(2) of the Active Mobility (Registration of Registrable Personal Mobility Devices) Regulations 2019 (G.N. No. S 13/2019).
