Regulation 11

Approved uniform

Subregulation 1

A person applying for a licence in respect of an establishment for massage must include, in the person’s application, pictures showing the uniform to be worn in the course of employment by an individual employed to work in the establishment for massage.

Subregulation 2

A licensee of an establishment for massage must ensure that any individual employed to work in the establishment for massage wears, in the course of the individual’s employment, the uniform approved by the Licensing Officer at the time of —

(a)

the grant of the licence; or

(b)

the grant of the approval under paragraph (3).

Subregulation 3

A licensee who wishes to change the uniform must seek the prior approval of the Licensing Officer.

Subregulation 4

The fee payable for an application for approval of a change in uniform is $35.

Subregulation 5

Any person who contravenes paragraph (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
