Citation and commencement

Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Merchant Shipping (Wreck Removal) (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2017 and come into operation on 8 September 2017.
Compoundable offences
The following offences may be compounded by the Director in accordance with section 28 of the Act:
any offence under section 4(7), 15(4) or (5) or 23(5) of the Act;
any offence under regulation 4 of the Merchant Shipping (Wreck Removal) (Compulsory Insurance) Regulations 2017 (G.N. No. S 500/2017).
