Exemption for incidental supply of batteries
Sections 8 and 18(1)(a) of the Act do not apply in relation to a portable battery, or an industrial battery, that is supplied only in connection with the supply of another product.
In this paragraph, “industrial battery” and “portable battery” have the meanings given by regulation 2 of the Resource Sustainability (Prescribed Regulated Products) Regulations 2019.
