Exemption in relation to administration of anonymous tests at temporary premises

Subregulation 1

Regulation 37(2) of the Healthcare Services (General) Regulations 2021 does not apply in relation to the administration of an anonymous test on any individual by the specified licensee in the provision of an outpatient medical service at temporary premises.

In this paragraph —

Definition

“anonymous test” means a test where no identifying information is asked of the individual seeking the test —

(a)

for HIV infection; or

(b)

for any sexually transmitted infection where the test is administered pursuant to a survey or study commissioned by the Communicable Diseases Agency, including but not limited to a seroprevalence survey or study;

Definition

“Communicable Diseases Agency” means the Communicable Diseases Agency established by section 3 of the Communicable Diseases Agency Act 2025;

Definition

“specified licensee” means National Skin Centre (Singapore) Pte Ltd which holds a valid licence to provide an outpatient medical service under the business name of DSC Clinic and is approved under the Act to provide the outpatient medical service at temporary premises;

Definition

“temporary premises” means any premises other than permanent premises.
