Exemption in relation to provision of contingency care service by nursing home service licensee

Section 8 of the Act does not apply in relation to the provision of a contingency care service by a person who holds a valid licence to provide a nursing home service and treats, as part of the provision of the nursing home service, an inpatient for an infectious disease specified in the First Schedule to the Infectious Diseases Act 1976.
