These By-laws are the Town Council for Punggol (Common Property — Additional) By‑Laws 2026 and come into operation on 1 June 2026.
Definitions
In these By-laws —“common property” means any common property in the Town of Punggol;“laundry” means any washing, towel, bedding, clothing or other article.

Application
These By-laws apply in addition to, and do not derogate from, the Town Councils (Model By‑Laws) Rules 2026 (G.N. No. S 327/2026).
Drying of laundry in unauthorised place or manner
A person must not intentionally or negligently hang or place, or cause the hanging or placement of, any laundry on any common property that is not designated by the Town Council for Punggol for that purpose.
A person must not intentionally or negligently hang or place, or cause the hanging or placement of, any laundry on any common property in a manner that causes or is likely to cause —
nuisance, annoyance or inconvenience to another person, including by the dripping of any liquid; or
damage to any common property or the property of another person.
