These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of East Coast (Administrative Fee for Late Payment of Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws.

Calculation of administrative fee for conservancy and service charges in arrears

Subregulation 1

Suggest a correction

Where any conservancy and service charge payable by any tenant or owner to the Town Council of East Coast remains unpaid for a period exceeding 6 months from the date on which it was due to be paid, the tenant or owner shall be liable to pay to the Town Council of East Coast an administrative fee of $50.

Subregulation 2

Suggest a correction

The administrative fee of $50 referred to in paragraph (1) shall be payable once so long as the conservancy and service charge or part thereof remains unpaid.

Regulation 3

Application of payment

The Town Council may, in its discretion, apply any moneys paid by a tenant or owner under these By-laws firstly towards the payment of the amount of administrative fee payable under these By-laws and thereafter apply any balance of such moneys towards the amount of conservancy and service charge or any part thereof which remains in arrears.

The Town Council may, in its discretion, remit wholly or in part any administrative fee payable under these By-laws.
