Section 197

All fines imposed under this Act (other than a fine imposed under Part 9 or any regulations made thereunder) must be paid to the Authority.

Any financial penalty payable by any person under this Act (other than a penalty payable under Part 9 or any regulations made thereunder) must be paid to the Authority and is recoverable by the Authority as a debt due to the Authority from that person; and the person’s liability to pay is not affected by the person’s licence ceasing, for any reason, to be in force.
