Clause 60

Any expense incurred by a veterinary authority or other officer in the exercise of the powers conferred on him by this Ordinance or any order, rule or direction made or given thereunder shall be charged against the owner, consignor, consignee or importer, as the case may be, of the animal, bird, carcase, article, building or conveyance concerned and may be recovered as a civil debt.
