Clause 6

Paragraph 2 of the First Schedule to the Arbitration Act is deleted and the following substituted therefor: —“2. If the reference is to two arbitrators, the two arbitrators may appoint an umpire at any time after they are themselves appointed and shall do so forthwith if they cannot agree.”.
