Clause 15

Section 65 of the Bankruptcy Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (1), the following subsection:“(1A) Where a creditor’s bankruptcy application which relies on a statutory demand is made, pursuant to section 63A, before 21 days have elapsed since the statutory demand was served, the court hearing the application must not make a bankruptcy order until at least 21 days have elapsed since the statutory demand was served.”.
