Clause 3

Transfer of Part of Register of Graduates

On the commencement of this Act —

(a)

the Registrar of the National University of Singapore shall transfer to the Registrar of the Nanyang Technological University —

(i)

the Part of the NUS Register of Graduates which, immediately before the commencement of this Act, was known as Part B thereof;

(ii)

the register of members of the former Nanyang University which, immediately before the commencement of this Act, was maintained in accordance with paragraph 5 of the Fourth Schedule to the National University of Singapore Act [Cap. 204]; and

(iii)

all documents in the possession of the Registrar of the National University of Singapore which relate to the Part of the NUS Register of Graduates and the register of members of the former Nanyang University so transferred; and

(b)

the registers or part thereof transferred pursuant to paragraph (a) shall constitute and form part of the Register of Graduates of the Nanyang Technological University maintained in accordance with section 35 of the Constitution of that University.
