Clause 217

Amendment of Trust Companies Act

The Trust Companies Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “execution” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “an enforcement order”:Section 5(3)(d)Section 14(1)(e);

(b)

by deleting the words “in camera” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “in private”:Section 49(3)(a)Part I of Third Schedule, third column of items 3 and 4;

(c)

by deleting the words “a garnishee order” in the following provision and substituting the words “an enforcement order for attachment of a debt”:Part I of Third Schedule, first column of item 6; and

(d)

by deleting the words “the garnishee order” in the following provision and substituting the words “the enforcement order for attachment of a debt”:Part I of Third Schedule, second column of item 6.
